The correct use: Parquet lacquer
Here you can find out exactly how to process our parquet lacquer, what you need to pay attention to and what material you will need:
You will need:
- Parquet Varnish
- fine sandpaper
- painter's tape to mask the area not to be coated
- paint roller, brush or airless spray gun
- if required, a paint lion thinner (this can also be used afterwards for cleaning the brushes)
Preparations and processing:
1) The application and especially the drying of two component paint should not take place at temperatures below 10°C. This specification refers to the painting, substrate and room temperature during application and the subsequent drying and curing time.
2) Dust sources should be removed.
3) Use painter's tape to cover the areas that are not to be coated. Stir the paint well before use.
4) The surface must be sanded before use and must be clean, dry, free of grease, silicone and wax. Loose old coats of paint or rust should be removed before use.
Important: Do not use soap-based cleaners or scouring agents (these are made from fatty acids and are therefore not suitable for dissolving grease).
5) A primer is not necessary. You can also use parquet varnish as a primer.
If desired, dilute the parquet lacquer with approx. 5 - 10% thinner.
Spray, roll or paint the paint. 1-2 coats are recommended.
After 3-8 hours tthe product can be painted again.
